What: A Run over Parrett Mountain & Bald Peak through the Yamhill Valley to Carlton
When: Wednesday, May 5 at 10:30 – Leave at 11:00 am
Where: Meet at Fred Meyer Parking Lot, 30300 SW Boones Ferry, Wilsonville – coffee and restrooms available at nearby Fred Meyer & Starbucks.
Wednesday is predicted to be warm and sunny, a perfect top-down day. Join us on one of our most favorite runs. A run through the hills of Parrett Mountain and Bald Peak to view the spring colors and endless vistas from the ridge roads. We will then drop down into the scenic Yamhill Valley to view the vineyards and farmlands. The run will culminate in Carlton, a picturesque village at the center of the Willamette Valley Wine Country. There are several gourmet restaurants in Carlton including a Mexican one, all practicing social distancing with outdoors seating. However, feel free to pack a lunch if you are uncomfortable to dine in a restaurant. And of course, Covid protocol still applies. Wear a mask, keep your distance and keep those elbow bumps to a minimum.
