Zoomer Thrill on Blueberry Hill Run - UPDATED 6/21/21

Our apologies to Mr. Fats Domino - Thrill might involve a slight stretch of imagination but the blue berries were wonderful last season.  Please join us on Wednesday, July 7.  After a thrilling ride on some twisty back country roads (to include Basket Flats) in north Clark County we will arrive at the berry patch.  Since this is privately owned and unadvertised these berries should not be picked over as are sometimes the larger fields.   If you want to pick some fresh berries, you will need to bring suitable shoes;buckets, baskets or other suitable containers; and cash $1.25/lb.

Meet at 10:00AM to depart 10:30 Place: Orchards Fred Meyer parking lot north side near the gas pumps.

Also plan on bringing a picnic lunch with you as they have a beautiful lawn were we can relax after the ordeal of picking as many blue berries as you can carry.  This may not sound like too much fun but muffins, and sauce on your waffles in the fall/winter months will make up for the effort - they are also pretty good fresh with a little whipped cream and are nice in a smoothie.  Oh, and before we forget, there will be some pretty nice Miata roads to get us there.
