Cars, Coffee and Lunch Saturday, August 7. Meet at 7:15, depart for the Cars & Coffee event at 7:40 Starting Point: Nyberg Road Fred Meyer parking lot, near the key kiosk in the eastern end of the parking lot, 19200 SW Martinazzi Ave, Tualatin, OR 97062, near I-5 Exit 289 We’ll be showing off in this event in that a key element in the event will be participation Portland Cars and Coffee in Sherwood, Oregon (see https://portlandcarsandcoffee.com/ ). We’ll be sharing the spotlight with a lot of other cars of all sorts – it’s a gearheads paradise! The C&C runs until 11:00, at which point we’ll take a fun little drive of an hour or so to Newberg, where we’ll picnic for lunch. Then we’ll part company and head home. . . or to the nearby wine country. . . or on to the beach. . . or to the zillions of nearby sports car roads. . .or. . .there are a lot of choices --
We’ll start off in Tualatin early – meet at 7:15 in the Fred Meyer parking lot on Nyberg Road – and leave at 7:40 AM for the short drive to the C&C’s staging area. Once settled at the show, we’ll stay until 10:30 or 11:00 when we’ll do the run to Newberg. The drive will take us through a series of backroads, some of which may be familiar from past runs, and that I just love. Then lunch. Things to bring – lunch!
