David Foster Memorial Run

This run is in honor of long-time club member, David Foster. David, with wife Sylvia and his distinctive yellow NC named Marigold were active Club contributors until failing health led him to cut back. David served as a past club President, co-sponsored past Hot Lava events and with wife Sylvia hosted several club summer picnics.

This run will follow roads that he knew well. For that matter, so do a lot of the rest of us!  We’ll begin at Veterans Park in North Plains and cruise over several excellent backroads in the area.  We will ultimately lunch at McMenamin's Cornelius Pass Roadhouse where we can provide a toast and reminisce.  The run will involve around 90 miles of driving over a nice mix of secondary roads, and I anticipate that it’ll involve a bit over two hours of driving.
