Come join us on a weekend tour to the Wild West of Eastern Washington and Oregon. We will be spending two nights in the historic turn of the century Hotel Condon in a small farm town in the heart of North-Central Oregon. We will then be spending the next day traveling the backroads through the painted hills, canyons and fossil beds of Eastern Oregon.
Day 1 starts in Camas, WA and continues east along the Columbia River to the Klickitat Canyon, Goldendale, Stone Henge, Maryhill Winery, Cottonwood Canyon and finally to the Historic Condon Hotel in North Central Oregon for a BBQ dinner.
Day 2 takes us through the Painted Hills, Fossil Beds, and twisty River Canyons of Central Oregon. Plenty of time to see the sights and visit a ghost town or two. Then it is back to the Historic Hotel Condon for a banquet dinner.
Day 3 takes us back home through the scenic Tygh Valley and back side of Mt Hood.
There is a $100 fee for each attendee to cover hotel banquet room, dinners, and sack lunch payable at registration.
The historic Hotel Condon has a total of 14 regular rooms and 4 suites. We have put a hold on the 14 regular rooms. Of course, the suites are available for others who may want to attend.
Contact Hotel Condon at 541-384-4624 to make reservations. Mention Mt Hood Miata Club for a 15% discount. A hold on the rooms is good through 7/31/2022.
Update. As of 8/27/2022 there are 2 suites still available and on hold at Hotel Condon. I was also advised that there are rooms available at the nearby Condon Motel . Rooms at Condon Motel have to be booked directly through their website.
Attendance to this event has been opened up to as many people who want to attend. However, there remains a $100 registration fee for each attendee.
